Aims & Scope

This special session aims to explore the applications and potential of digital twin technology in healthcare and medicine, with a focus on personalized medicine, treatment optimization, clinical simulation, and healthcare system management. It also provides a platform to discuss practical applications, emerging technologies, and challenges related to data, privacy, ethics, and regulatory issues. The session covers digital twin technologies for individual patients, organs, medical devices, healthcare processes, and healthcare systems, including the development of human and medical digital twins and their integration with AI, machine learning, and healthcare data.

Submissions that reflect the session scope and current state of the field are welcome in areas including but not limited to:
